Courtney Vincent
CEO
As a Licensed Interior Designer with the Alberta Association of Architects (AAA), NCIDQ Certified, and LEED Accredited, Courtney brings a rigorous, well-rounded perspective to every project.
Throughout her 20-plus years in the commercial design industry, Courtney has led the development of thoughtful, high-performing spaces across sectors, including workplace, retail, hospitality, and wellness. Her work is grounded in both creative vision and technical precision — blending aesthetics, functionality, and sustainable principles to deliver meaningful results for clients.
Courtney’s approach is deeply collaborative, working closely with clients, consultants, and project teams to shape spaces that are aligned with business goals and end-user needs. Her leadership reflects a balance of strategic thinking, design excellence, and attention to detail — all of which contribute to projects that are as intelligent as they are inspiring.
In addition to her design practice, Courtney serves as President of the Primarily It’s a Party Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to connecting the interior design students at Mount Royal University with industry members, and providing financial aid scholarships.
Luqman Mirza
CFO
With over 20 years of experience in sales, leadership, finance, and organizational development, Luqman has cultivated a people-first approach and a results-driven mindset. His career journey spans from front-line customer service to senior sales management and includes leadership roles in operations and finance.
Luqman applies his expertise in process improvement, revenue growth, and stakeholder engagement to support our mission of delivering thoughtful, functional, and inspiring spaces. His ability to anticipate client needs, lead with integrity, and streamline operations positions him as a key force in driving Curae Studio's growth and expanding its impact across the commercial design and FF&E landscape.
Whether he’s refining internal systems, mentoring emerging leaders, or building lasting client partnerships, Luqman is focused on elevating the business of procurement—one relationship at a time.
Alex Lingnau
COO
Across a decade-long career in film and television set decoration, Alex has successfully led teams to deliver exceptional results under tight deadlines and high-pressure production environments. She has has developed expertise in sourcing, logistics, and large-scale installations as well as the skills required to manage complex budgets and multidisciplinary teams.
Through her practical experience managing the integration of art into public projects, Alex has worked to champion creativity while understanding and maintaining stakeholder expectations. While working with multifaceted project teams, she has coordinated vendors, artists, craftspeople and trades to bring ambitious and challenging projects to life.
Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts in visual arts and a background spanning stage, screen and the public realm, Alex has helped realize a wide variety of immersive and inspiring environments. Detail-oriented and solution-driven, Alex brings a creative and organized approach to every project; making the impossible possible and crafting spaces that captivate and inspire.

Before joining Vincent Licensed Interior Design Inc., Luqman led high-performing sales teams across some of Canada's top automotive groups. His career journey spans from front-line customer service to senior sales management in the automotive industry and includes leadership roles in operations and finance at Scotiabank. Throughout these roles, Luqman was recognized for his strength in client relations, process development and team building.
In his role as VP of Business Development and Operations, Luqman is instrumental in bridging the worlds of sales and design. He applies his deep expertise in process improvement, revenue growth, and stakeholder engagement to support VLID’s mission of delivering thoughtful, functional, and inspiring spaces.
